# KazTool

> KazTool provides an online converter for Kazakh Cyrillic and Kazakh Arabic/Tote script. Developers and connected AI agents can use the REST API or remote MCP service after account authorization.

KazTool converts writing systems; it does not translate languages, verify Kazakh grammar, or proofread text. Supported script identifiers are `kk-Cyrl` and `kk-Arab`. Updated 2026-10-11: the independent API supports trial-first prepaid character metering (`billing_enabled: true`, `plan: prepaid_characters`). Trial eligibility is account-managed; API activation remains manual. Each user authorizes their own account and consumes their own allowance; access is not anonymous or unlimited.

The REST API and remote MCP endpoint are hosted at `api.kaztool.cn`. Connect an eligible KazTool account at the connection center. Never put an API key in a URL, source repository, browser bundle, or chat prompt. API and MCP conversion text is processed by KazTool servers and is not persisted by this service; callers should still obtain consent before sending sensitive text to any remote service.

This file describes the KazTool agent API hosted on `.cn`; it does not redefine the canonical URL of any KazTool website.

## Product boundaries

- Conversion supports Kazakh Cyrillic (`kk-Cyrl`) and Arabic/Tote (`kk-Arab`) in either direction. A single input is limited to 20,000 Unicode code points; a batch is limited to 20 items and 100,000 input code points total.
- Script detection is a character-script heuristic, not language, spelling, or grammar verification. Preserve returned warnings and `algorithm_version`.
- Successful conversions consume input Unicode code points, trial first then available purchased credits; unchanged unmapped input can still consume allowance. Detection and usage queries consume no characters, but rate limits still apply. Check `/v1/usage` with the `usage` scope and retain the trial/prepaid receipt.
- The independent API's ten owner-confirmed complete word corrections were verified on 2026-10-11 with engine `sha256:704c442e46c90b1775ce36bf5a5dfb1762210d4fc45fe58f67c84a25c49229de`. Read the live usage/response identity for later releases; this finite evidence does not imply 100% linguistic accuracy.
- OCR, translation, proofreading, Latin conversion, and Word/PDF layout conversion are not exposed by this API/MCP service.
- API keys and OAuth connections are revocable. Do not automatically retry a conversion after an uncertain network result; first inspect account usage. REST idempotency guidance is in the quickstart.
- This file follows the llms.txt community proposal and is an optional discovery aid. It does not guarantee that any crawler, search engine, or AI agent will fetch, honor, or recommend KazTool.
